Due to an increase in the number of phone calls being handled daily we have
added a new phone line to handle prescription renewals only. Please do not leave
any other messages on this line. If there are any questions about the renewal
please call our regular phone line. The prescription renewal line is available
24 hours a day. Prescription renewal requests may also be called directly to
the pharmacy and the pharmacy will fax us with the request. We require a minimum
of 2 business days notice to process all renewals.
When requesting a renewal please leave the following information in your
message and speak slowly and clearly so the information can be documented.
1: Patient name and a number where you may be reached.
2: Drug name and strength (mg)
3: Prescription renewal number
4: Dosage instructions (how many you take a day)
5: Number of pills required
6: Name of pharmacy and phone number
Prescription renewals will be called in to your pharmacy. You will be contacted
only if there is a problem.
